Christine Dennehy

Christine teaches Yin every Sunday @ 4 p.m. ET. Her classes are so technical + informative, yet accessible—she explains the benefit of every pose + breathing practice that she leads us through. Her cues are clear. Her intentions are well-defined. You will leave this 75-minute Yin practice not only feeling as she intended (energized, grounded, etc..), but with a stronger understanding of the powerful healing of the Yin practice.

David Onorato

David’s vinyasa classes on Mondays @ 7 p.m. are as interesting as he is—as soon as you will log in you will understand why he has such a loyal group of students. From his opening remarks to his themes + carefully crafted (+ optional) playlists to his sequences, his passion for life + yoga + his attention-to-detail all shine through. Although some of the peak poses may be physically challenging to some students, don’t let that intimidate you—modifications are available + encouraged (I once heard his delight in realizing a student was in the more restorative Figure Four shape instead of pigeon).

Jenny Leopold

“Her voice”. To say this is the only reason students (+ their now-obsessed four-legged family members) attend Jenny’s classes would be unfair + untrue + would shortchange her hundreds of hours of yoga, meditation + pranayama training at Kripalu + beyond. But I do hear this feedback—a lot. Jenny teaches Kripalu Flow every Tuesday @ 8 a.m. as well as Yin on Wednesdays @ 7 p.m. + Restorative @ 5:30 p.m. Her classes are all as approachable as she is—+ did I mention her voice? Expect to be warmly welcomed by Jenny + her lovely group of students.

Robert Meko

Oh, how to describe Robert’s Kripalu Flow. It is perfection (not that we are striving for that of course it just happens to be…every week). His calming voice. His creative sequences. Like our other Kripalu teachers, every class is different + varies by the season. But what makes it extra special is hard to articulate + well, you just have to pop in on Tuesdays @ 5:30 p.m. to understand. This class is not to be missed.

Sahaj Kaur

If you practice Kundalini Yoga in the greater Boston area (dare I say New England) you have heard of Sahaj. Off the mat she is an artist—+ dare I say she is one on the mat too. Sahaj’s students bring me pure joy. Since May 2015 I have made a point to be at the shop or more recently on zoom so I can be a part of their conversations about life, health, yoga, current events…you name it. Your vibe attracts your tribe, right?

Miranda Mollendorf

When you log in to zoom for Miranda’s class you will be greeted by a note from her that explains the props you will need + then exactly at the start of class she magically appears. This is how I would describe her arriving at the shop all those years ago—poof (+ and there she was). I don’t remember a Miranda-free 5D + I shudder to imagine it without her. Whether you take her vinyasa classes on Thursdays @ 7 p.m. + Saturdays @ 5:30 p.m or her Yin classes on Fridays @ 7 p.m., you will feel embraced by her technical knowledge + caring nature (P.S. cat lovers you will be interested to hear her feline Missy makes an appearance at every class.)
